Eblana Photonics, a newly established provider of laser products to the telecommunications industry, has announced a new generation of transmitter source and high power pump lasers for optical communications. The company was born out of a Photonics Advanced Research Programme at Trinity College Dublin, in conjunction with the Irish National Microelectronic Research Centre, and is currently based in the Trinity Enterprise Centre, Dublin.
