ACT Venture Capital
ACT Venture Capital is one of Ireland's leading independent venture capital firms. Based in Dublin since 1994, ACT has established an impressive track record in high growth opportunity investments in both the domestic and offshore markets.

ACT has a particular leaning towards high-technology start up companies focused on global markets and has a strong investment portfolio in the Information Communications Technology sector. ACT's experience in the nurturing of early stage technology companies has led to the development of a group of high calibre, technically adept investment professionals. This experience is brought to Eblana's board by John M. Flynn.

Enterprise Ireland
Enterprise Ireland is the Irish government organisation charged with assisting the development of Irish enterprise. The organisation works with Irish companies in developing a sustainable competitive advantage, leading to a significant increase in profitable sales, exports and employment.

Enterprise Ireland helps to build technological R&D capabilities and links between third level colleges and industry, which are administered and promoted via national and EU support mechanisms. Programmes include support for high quality R&D in areas such as product and process development and innovation, R&D management training and technology acquisition.

Trinity College Dublin
Located in Dublin, Ireland, Trinity College is a university with a reputation for excellence in a wide range of disciplines and is a landmark establishment for third level education in Europe.

Trinity College has a well developed infrastructure for supporting enterprise and its on-campus Innovation Centre has been established with the purpose of linking business and industry to the research and training capacity of the university.

As a further signal of TCD's strong support for enterprise within the college's research community, the Trinity College Enterprise Centre, a 10,000m2 business park, was established to provide a base for many of the spin-off, high technology enterprises emerging from the diverse, on-campus research activities.

TLCom Capital Partners
TLCom Capital Partners, a UK based venture capital company, is focused on European investment opportunities in segments that include wireless data; IP technology and services; broadband technology and services; e-commerce support services and enabling technologies.

The TLCom management and advisory team represents over 60 years combined experience in finance and strategy for the communications industry in Europe and Silicon Valley. The company operates a fund worth Euro185m and has a strategic co-investment agreement with the private equity arm of Morgan Stanley. TLCom's experience is made available to Eblana via general partner Colin Watts who is a member of Eblana's board of directors.

Private Investors
In addition to the organisations outlined above, Eblana also receives support from private individuals close to the optical communications industry who have recognised the company's value proposition in establishing itself as a world class photonic component supplier to the burgeoning Metro and Access sectors of that industry. These private investors bring a further dimension to the organisation, offering a wealth of market knowledge and insight into likely future trends.
